TUESDAY ANNOUNCEMENTS 

West-MEC (Koole; 11/5- 11/13)

Are you planning to apply for a West-MEC program this year? This is your chance! Bring your parents to our informational meeting on Wednesday, November 13th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the PAC building. Don’t forget that you get more points on your application for attending West-MEC events! See your counselor for more information!

If you are interested in joining concert band, jazz band, winter colorguard or percussion class in the Spring, please see Mr. Meldrum in the Band Room.

GCC ACE (Trezza; 11/12- 11/20)

Sophomores Only: Glendale Community College (GCC) is offering free college classes through the ACE program. GCC came and did a presentation of all the information. If you missed it, see your counselor. The application is in the counseling department. Come and pick it up! The ACE application will be due Wednesday November 20th to your counselor. This is a scholarship program for free college classes at Glendale Community College and a great opportunity!

Choir; (Merrill; 11/12- 11/20)

Are you interested in choir? Or do you just like to watch movies with your friends? Join the choir students for a free movie on Wednesday, November 20th at 2:45 in the Mini Auditorium. We will be watching the Live Action version of Disney’s Aladdin. There will also be a short performance and a Q&A with some of our choir members. Again, it’s free! Come hang out.

Piano Recital (Merrill; 11/12)

Looking for an artistic date night? How about a piano recital? This Thursday, the IHS piano classes will be performing in the PAC at 5 and 7 pm. Come to one or both of the recitals, they are FREE! Hope to see you there.

Highlighted Artist (Cramer; 11/14)

The Visual Arts Department is very proud to announce the Highlighted Artist for November is Emily Villegas. Emily is an Art 7-8 student that has worked hard to become a very good artist. She consistently creates artwork with interesting compositions. She puts effort into creating quality pieces and always challenges herself. Emily has made sacrifices to become the artist she is. In addition to an artist, Emily is also an athlete that holds down a job while balancing school work. The Visual Arts Department is proud of her efforts and they will pay off in her 4th year of art. We are excited to see what Emily will create in her remaining months of high school! Congratulations Emily Villegas.

Young Environmentalist’s Club (Bolton; Kieu: 11/14)

The Young Environmentalist’s Club would like to invite you to join them after school TODAY at 2:45 pm in Room G-11 along with current Young Environmentalist’s & Jr. ROTC volunteers in getting community service credit while helping “Recycle” Patriot Nation.

Shane’s Rib Shack (Marshall; 11/15- 11/18)

Everybody loves Barbeque and Shane’s Rib Shack will be here every Monday to bring you’re their tasty barbeque. You will have the option to purchase a shredded barbeque sandwich or buffalo chicken strips for $5.00.

Girls Soccer (Monaghan; 11/15)

All JVB and JVA girls soccer players go to library at 2:35 to take the baseline concussion. Also any Varsity players that missed it need to be there today as well. Library at 2:35 Girls Soccer.
