I come to Independence after 2 years at Cortez High.  I am the Title I Coordinator and also teach two Peer Tutor classes.  In these freshman classes students will be able to get assistance with their classwork and will also be required to read a number of books each semester.  We will also develop research and presentation skills. I can often be found before and after school in my classroom, 219, which doubles as the learning center.  The learning center is available to any student who would like help on school work from 7:00-7:55 AM and 2:35-3:30 PM.
