Hello My Name Is...

Doug Kimball

I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University.  I have been at Independence for 11 years.  I have spent time teaching health, careers, physical education and currently I am in my 8th year of teaching special education.

I have been married for 14 years to my lovely wife Caren.  We have two daughters (Taylor 12, and Megan 9).  Our 4-year old son's name is Charlie.  We live in Peoria and are both natives of Arizona.  My wife is able to work out of our home at this time but she also was a teacher at Independence in the past.

Our lives revolve around the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Everything we schedule is determined by the time of the first pitch of that day's game.
