Welcome Independence Patriots!

I am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve as your new Principal. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know the Independence family of students, teachers, staff and community members who make this a great school. Independence High School has had a tradition of setting high standards of achievement and behavior. As Principal, I have made it my goal to ensure that the tradition continues and that we set those standards even higher this year. I offer my support and guidance to each of you as we begin a school year focused upon excellence throughout. I encourage each of you to accept the challenges presented to you this school year with a positive attitude and use them as a chance to grow.
